while at church yesterday, i sat by a 5 year old girl that during an hour time said these things to me:
1. can i smell your breath? (i breathe)...it smells bad
2. your hair looks itchy.
3. your hair is weird. why do you do it that way?
4. do you have other friends that have weird hair?
awesome. nothing like knowing the truth.

Hey Mitch! I'm glad you finally found me.
Kids are the best at humbling you. When I first started working in child care as a teenager I was constantly being asked, "Do you have chicken pox?" No, they are just zits, and thanks for reminding me about them!
Ouch! You should have kicked her. I don't care that you're bigger and older than her...she needs to learn her lesson early.
Oh my heck! Ha ha that is awesome. It is good to hear from you. I am doing fine since the accident. Thank you for your concern!!!
Michelle! How fun that you have found us. This is so cool.
Hey, aren't kids great? So seriously, is your hair itchy?
Inquiring minds (and 5-year-olds) want to know.
Oh I love it! I was teaching the YA guys how to tie a quilt last night and this old lady walks through and yells at me that my yarn is too long...which I ignored. THEN on the very first stitch it got all knotted up and we had to cut it out...dumb lady.
I love that you actually let the little girl smell your breath! thats awesome and rude of you at the same time...couldnt you taste it?
haha! That is so funny! I am so glad Kaya is still young enough to think that everything about me is still cool... I think i only have another 6 months to a year on that one though.... crap!
